Ingredients:
2oz Blood Orange Soda
2oz White Rum
1-2oz Cranberry Ginger Ale, to taste
Ginger infused simple syrup
1 lime, cut into slices
Fresh mint
A few tbsp brown sugar, for garnish on the rim
Cranberries, for garnish
Candied ginger, for garnish
Directions:
First, slice a lime and use it to moisten the rim of your glass. Pour brown sugar into a shallow bowl or plate. Twirl the rim of the glass in brown sugar to coat. Set glass aside.
In a separate glass, muddle an additional lime wedge and a sprig of mint to release the lime juice and mint oil.
Next, add 3 tablespoons of ginger simple syrup and white rum to the glass with the lime and mint. Stir or shake vigorously.
Pour contents into rimmed glass and add ice. Top with Blood Orange Soda and a splash of Cranberry juice and 1-2 extra lime wedges.
Garnish with mint, candied ginger, and cranberries
