Lemon butter Chilean sea bass is a luxurious buttery fish served with a bright and zesty lemon sauce.
Ingredients:
4 Chilean Sea Bass Fillets (6 oz each)
1 Lemon, juiced and zested
1 Lemon, sliced garnish
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp Fresh thyme
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tbsp Sea Salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Season the Chilean sea bass on both sides with salt and pepper.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Once hot, add the sea bass fillets, skin side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the fillets carefully and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Remove the fish from the skillet and set on a plate.
Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter.
Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, and thyme to the skillet and stir.
Return the sea bass filets to the skillet, spoon lemon butter sauces over the top.
Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 7-10 minutes. The fish will be flaky when fully cooked.
Garnish with lemon slices and add butter sauce on top.
Serve hot!
