Smoked Salmon Verrine with Avocado–Herb Mousse & Caviar

An elevated appetizer featuring a silky avocado–herb mousse topped with citrus-bright smoked salmon and finished with a luxurious spoonful of caviar. Clean layers, refined flavor, and a presentation that does all the talking.

Ingredients (6–8 verrines)
Avocado Mousse
2 ripe avocados
2 tbsp crème fraîche
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped dill
1 tbsp chopped chives
Salt & pepper
Salmon Layer
6 oz smoked salmon, finely chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp chopped dill
1 tbsp chopped chives
Topping
Caviar
Extra herbs for garnish
Instructions for Smoked Salmon Verrine
Make the avocado mousse:
Blend avocados, crème fraîche, lemon juice, dill, chives, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Spoon or pipe into the bottom of each verrine.
Prep the salmon:
Combine smoked salmon with lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, and chives.
Add a spoonful on top of the avocado layer.
Chill: Refrigerate for 30 minutes so the layers firm slightly.
Finish: Top with caviar and a sprinkle of herbs just before serving.
